THE LABORATORY
The workshop PETERPAN, located in the heart of Venice between historic buildings, perform one of the most typical activity of the city.
In the shop, born in 1600, produced papier-mache masks decorated with gold leaf, colors completely homemade.
The creations are unique and sought models, with thorough attention to the masks for the theater and for the Carnival.
The laboratory is located adjacent to the church, in an old space that was previously the “portico-covered” of the same church – the name of the field – , which it was closed in 1575 and used in subsequents periods, to the laboratory.
This is still in evidence from Madonna engraved on the capital that still sustains the doorway which leads to our laboratory.
Today that is hosting us and relives its splendor thanks to us.
